For Composting Organic Waste
NatureVel®-SW contains a diverse mix of microbes that drive the composting process by breaking down even tough organic matter under the right conditions. The product first ferments organic waste to conserve nutrients and then decomposes it into stable compost in under 40 days.
During the process, complex compounds like cellulose and fats are broken down, releasing heat, carbon dioxide, and water. Different microbial groups play their role at each stage: aerobic bacteria initiate decomposition and generate high temperatures to kill pathogens, while anaerobic bacteria and fungi contribute during the maturation phase.
It is essential to understand that compost is not a biofertilizer. It is food for the soil’s microflora. Compost itself does not directly provide nutrients to crops; rather, it supports soil microbes, which in turn release the nutrients that plants need.
